Gad experiences it as being a positive experience and I want to afford him his personal interpretation. However, incest and sexual abuse of children is ALWAYS wrong and no child can “provoke”, as Gad says, sexual attention from adults. Gad came from a time that was deeply limited in its acceptance and understanding of non-heterosexuality, and he had very little information of abuse and its effects to compare his life too. He speaks from that limited space, and this is all further evidence of HOW IMPORTANT it is for our general communities to have basic knowledge of LGBT people.
